Official tender sources: TED, BOAMP, World Bank, UK OCDS

How Navin Tenders ingests official feeds and catalogues 70+ portals with no paid aggregator and no invented notices.

Navin Tenders does not rent an inbox. It follows a fixed order: official API, open data, RSS, structured HTML, browser last. Paid aggregators are out of scope.

Product: /tenders. Agent guide: first article.

SAM.gov: public portal. The v2 API needs SAM_API_KEY. Without a key, no invented US federal notices. See /compare/bidnet.

A catalog of 70+ portals

Every source has a path:

  • api / opendata: live ingest
  • covered: PLACE via BOAMP, EU portals via TED
  • search: official web-search net (Etimad, HAICOP, ARMP...)
  • key: SAM.gov
  • catalog: outside the profile, never silent

One Collect yields one report per catalog source (70+ portals). No silent holes.

What HTML is not

Etimad, TUNEPS, Monaqasat, CAPT: official portals, often behind login or WAF. Navin catalogues them and offers site:gov queries. It does not scrape the wall.

Sources FAQ

Is TED enough for France?

Above threshold, yes. Below, BOAMP open data fills in. PLACE is the deposit portal, not the bulletin.

What about Africa?

World Bank finances many notices with a real country (SN, KE, MG...). National portals stay in the catalog.

Is an aggregator simpler?

Simpler to rent. More expensive, less honest about origin. See /compare/marches-online.

Frequent mistakes

  • Treating PLACE as the bulletin (it is the deposit portal).
  • Mixing a paid aggregator with an "official source".
  • Believing a site:gov net equals structured notices.
  • Forgetting that SAM without a key means zero invented federal notices.

Deeper: reading a Collect report

Each source returns a path. Read it before calling a bug:

  • api / opendata: real notices expected.
  • covered: already covered by TED or BOAMP.
  • search: queries to run, not a JSON dump.
  • key: add SAM_API_KEY or accept empty.
  • catalog: outside the profile; the desk says so.

A Collect with reports and 0 TED notices is not a lie: the API is down or the filter is too tight.

Conclusion

Official sources exist. Navin reads them. It does not invent the rest.
